What Next for the Global Economy?
Professor Johnson, previously chief economist at the International Monetary Fund, will discuss the latest developments in the US and around the world.  Will new technology – from blockchain to artificial intelligence – further disrupt our world?  What, if anything, can we do to get better outcomes for more people?

  

Simon Johnson is the Ronald A. Kurtz (1954) Professor of Entrepreneurship at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he is also head of the Global Economics and Management group and chair of the Sloan Fellows MBA Program Committee.

Directions and Parking  

The reception will be held at the newly-opened Airbus Experience Center, which showcases technology developed by Airbus affiliates. The address is 1101 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, across the street from the Trump Hotel and the Reagan Building. The meeting is in Suite 800, and is handicapped accessible.

Metro: Use Metro Center (walk 3 blocks south) or Federal Triangle at the Reagan Building (walk one block north).


Parking:Private garages are available nearby on 11th street. The closest parking garage is the PMI Garage at 1111 Pennsylvania Avenue which is accessible from 11th Street.
